The presidential election held on January 11, 2020 saw Tsai Ing Wen largely re-elected against the Kuomintang candidate Han Kuo-Yu. I followed her arrival at the polling station and then the discovery of the results at her headquarters, among a crowd of jubilant people in a context of solidarity against the repressions that Hong Kong was undergoing.
